Dear Friend:

Mediators of Southern Nevada, Inc. (MSN) is a non-profit organization that supports alternative dispute resolution as a problem-solving tool. In recognition of its value in communities, MSN will be sponsoring its Eleventh  Annual Nevada Mediation Week September 13 - 19, 2008.  Highlighting the week is our Peacemaker Dinner. Last year six members of our community were recognized as "Peacemakers of the Year". Each received public acknowledgment at the Peacemaker Dinner and a beautiful plaque honoring their selection.

We know that there are many in our community who help to make peace in their home, workplace, their neighborhood, or their affiliation groups. We would like you to think about one or more of these peacemakers and nominate them for an award.  

The Peacemaker of the Year nomination form is on this website. Please make copies if you need more. Complete the nomination form, in detail, and return it or fax it as directed on the form. The deadline for submission is August 15, 2009.  

We look forward to seeing you and your nominee at the Peacemaker Dinner. It is scheduled during Nevada Mediation Week, at the Texas Hotel and Casino Convention Center at 6:00 p.m.  Let us know if you plan to attend.  While you are thinking of it, mark the date now on your calendar so you and your nominee can join us.
