Initiated by MSN, the third week in September is proclaimed as Nevada Mediation Week by the State of Nevada, Clark County, and the major cities in Clark County. It highlights the process of mediation and ADR, mediation and ADR activities and services, offered during that week. MSN hosts an annual mediation week in September of each year with the MSN annual membership meeting and workshops. The State of Nevada, Clark County Government, and the entities of Boulder City, Henderson, Las Vegas, and North Las Vegas generally recognize the week with proclamations.
This meeting is held at the beginning of Nevada Mediation Week. Members are provided with updates from various committees of MSN and the direction of the organization. Through MSN workshops, members are given the opportunity to earn continuing education credits in mediation.
PEACEMAKER OF THE YEAR AWARD AND DINNER
Members of the public are invited to nominate someone who has brought peace to their lives, the community, or has advanced ADR in our state. The nominees are honored during Nevada Mediation Week at the Peacemaker Dinner and six of the of the total number of nominees are chosen to receive the Peacemaker of the Year Award.

The MSN newsletter is informative and provides the reader with news related to MSN and its members, mediation Clark County, trainings and workshops, legislative bills, and general information about mediation and ADR.
